Kentucky Roses Cafe

The cafe, nursery and garden is open every   Sunday from 10am to 5pm through until late April.  The cafe serves tea, cappuccinos, lattes, cold drinks and delicious home-made cakes, which include to-die-for vanilla slice, heavenly citrus tart, a divine raspberry and white chocolate brownie and homemade mango and passionfruit icecream.  These delectable treats are freshly made each day by Kate's friend Tina Watson, who uses her own hen's eggs and cow's milk. plus a lot of  know-how inherited from her French mother!  Scones  made to a 'secret recipe' each morning  to guarantee they are fluffy and moist are  served with whipped cream and  raspberry jam.
High Tea is available through the week by appointment (prior bookings with at least two day's notice essential).  Guests can wander through the garden then sit in the shade surrounded by vases of roses, sipping endless tea or coffee and nibbling finger sandwiches, scones and cakes, served on pretty floral china.  This is a lovely way to spend quality time with friends or family and is the perfect treat for a special occasion, including birthdays, reunions and is a great idea for a hen's (tea) party!  Relaxation is guaranteed!   ($35  per person includes garden entry, minimum of 6 people)
