Welcome to Kentucky Roses, a commercial field-grown rose farm specialising in David Austin roses, with a display garden, nursery & cafe. Run by Kate & Dave Hedges in the historic New England village of Kentucky (NSW Australia) the business caters for the wholesale cut flower industry and local weddings and events.
Kentucky Roses Nursery, Garden & cafe is open every Sunday 10 - 5pm from November 11th 2012 to 7th April 2013, with standard and bush David Austin Roses for sale. Groups can visit by appointment or on days the nursery is open, and enjoy a stroll through the garden to view the various roses.
Cappuccinos, tea, cakes and cold drinks can be purchased from the small cafe at Kentucky Roses (for more extensive eating options nearby we suggest The Kentucky Store licensed cafe and Pinot Restaurant at Eastview Estate for delicious lunches & evening meals with wine).
Kentucky Roses offers visitors the unique experience of being able to view a rose in the garden (it's scent, colour, growth habit etc) - and select their favourites, many of which are available for purchase as a potted rose.
*there is a $5 garden entry fee per person, children free
We are now closed until November 2013 - We would like to thank all the wonderful people who have supported us this year, we have enjoyed sharing our little Kentucky garden with everyone so much. We will be working on lots of new ideas over the winter months to inspire guests next season, so we hope to see you then! Please feel free to contact us with inquiries and bookings for next season (often a good idea to book larger groups in advance).
